Portland's Uncage the Soul filmmakers teamed up with the U.S. Forest Service to produce this beautiful time lapse video of national forests in the Pacific Northwest.
It includes scenes from Gifford Pinchot, Olympic, Mt. Hood, Fremont-Winema, Malheur, Wallowa-Whitman and Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
The Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region website has details about where each scene was shot, as well as a map of the locations and downloadable photos.
Uncage The Soul is known for capturing stunning nighttime images such as this one of Oregon stars.
They also produced a documentary featuring tree climbers who traversed a kilometer of oak savannah in Oregon without touching the ground to raise awareness of threats to oak savannah habitat.
