The “Two Bulls” fire west of Bend is a stark reminder of the potential for a tough fire season in Oregon this year.

Officials said Sunday that winds and temperatures could cause an escalation in fire behavior Sunday.

Lisa Clark of the Central Oregon Interagency Dispatch Center told OPB’s Gretchen Kilby that firefighters were facing conditions similar to what they’d normally see in July.

There are a number of places to find information about the fire, Deschutes County officials say. The best, they say, is through social media including the Twitter account: @CentralORFire. You can also watch the hash tag #twobullsfire.

The county also recommends the Facebook pages for City of Bend, and Deschutes County.
