Protester Rally at UO Campus: Social Media Reaction

Today, members of the UO Coalition to End Sexual Violence gathered on the University of Oregon campus to protest the administration’s response to a recent sexual assault case involving four students.

The protest started at noon and seems to have drawn dozens of people to the campus, touting picket signs and also their smartphones. Many have taken to Twitter to share opinions on hashtags like #IStandWithSurvivors, #SurvivorOverSports and #WeWantAnswers. Some are using #GoDucks, a popular hashtag stream that is usually used with sports tweets.

The Register-Guard captured a video of the protest from inside Johnson Hall:
