- Three families are suing Silverton Hospital after each family had a baby born with brain damage and cerebral palsy. They’re accusing the hospital of malpractice in the delivery room.
- Three more victims of the Washington landslide have been identified, bringing the death toll to 36. Eight people are still considered missing.
- Regence BlueCross BlueShield will close its offices in Salem and shift 70 positions to Medford. BlueCross BlueShield plans to still have a presence in Salem, with many of its employees working remotely or in a smaller office space in the city.
- The Bend City Council will discuss new rates for water, including a new structure to fairly distribute costs.
