- Wednesday night Polk County commissioners voted to pass a moratorium on medical marijuana facilities, closing one dispensary just outside of Salem, and Jacksonville City Council passed a ban medical marijuana.
- Bend City Council is considering the sale of part of the city’s water system. Two outside companies approached the city about purchasing Juniper Utility Company system that merged with the city’s in 2002.
- The President of technology contractor Oracle says the company is not to blame for the failed launch of Cover Oregon health exchange.
- Mt. Tabor Reservoir will be emptied, cleaned and re-filled after a man urinated in the reservoir early Wednesday morning. Three men were cited for trespassing and one was also cited for public urination, but the Multnomah County District Office hasn’t decided whether or not to press charges.
