Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is in Portland today, holding a campaign rally at the Moda Center. The Vermont senator comes after former President Bill Clinton made an impromptu visit to the Rose City earlier this week.
The region is in a relatively unfamiliar spotlight as the presidential campaign comes northwest. Washington's Saturday caucus and Oregon's May primary take on new importance in 2016 with tight races for the Democratic and Republican nominations.
