Clinton will appear at the Left Bank Annex at 101 N Weidler St., which is near the Moda Center. Doors to the free event will open at 3 p.m., according to Hillary Clinton's campaign.  The former president is among numerous political figures campaigning here in advance of Oregon's May 17 primary.

Following that event, Clinton will appear at a fundraiser at the Southwest Portland home of Benjamin Souede and his wife, Jill. Souede is general counsel to Gov. Kate Brown and a former aide to Hillary Clinton when she was a senator from New York.

Tickets for the fundraising event have been going for $500 and up.

The former president will also campaign in Bend earlier on Thursday. Jillian Schoene, Clinton's Oregon director, said she did not yet have the time and place of that event.

Republican presidential hopefuls will also be in the Portland area this week, with Sen. Ted Cruz scheduled to be in Vancouver on Thursday, according to the Columbian, and GOP front-runner Donald Trump visiting Southwest Washington on Saturday.
