Political Chat: Klamath Dam Removal Agreement, Sanders Digs In In Oregon

Wednesday marked an historic day at the mouth of the Klamath River when two sitting governors, the U.S. Interior secretary and a power executive met to sign agreements to remove dams from the river.

Though the path is cleared for dam removal after years of political tie-ups, much lies ahead for Klamath Basin restoration.

Elsewhere in Oregon, the presidential campaign is heating up. Bernie Sanders is digging in in the Beaver State, one in which he expects to perform well.

However, the Republican candidates thus far have very little presence in the Northwest despite looming primaries.
