As the search continues for seven people still missing in the Oso mudslide, Snohomish County and the state Transportation Department are making plans to reopen Highway 530.

About a mile of the highway is covered by debris from the March 22 slide, blocking the main route between Darrington and Interstate 5.

Officials are holding a community meeting to discuss the highway tonight at Darrington, a 7 p.m. at the Darrington Community Center. Similar meetings are planned Tuesday at the Oso Community Chapel and Wednesday at the Stillaguamish Senior Center in Arlington.
