In the spirit of the opening of baseball season, we’re going to spend the next few minutes talking about some political strikes.

Oregon businesses struck up a coalition in opposition to Oregon’s gay marriage prohibition.

Sen. Ron Wyden struck out in one of his first big efforts as the Chair of the Senate Finance Committee.

And the Supreme Court struck a blow for backers of campaign finance reform in a big ruling this week.
