Political Chat: Education, Guns And Governor Gregoire

Among the feverish activity at the Oregon capitol this week — education politics playing out behind closed doors and in a very public spat. 

A proposal to keep the names of concealed weapons permit holders secret shows a bit of legislative sausage making.

And to the north, more contenders for governor in 2012 began to emerge once Gov. Chris Gregoire announced that she won’t run for a third term.

To disentangle these and related stories, our political guys, Bill and Jeff have joined us again.
