Political Chat: Judges Make News In Eugene, Boise

OPB | May 16, 2014 11:30 a.m. | Updated: June 9, 2014 6:55 a.m. | Portland

Part of Series:

It may be the week just before the Oregon primary, but the most prominent news came from courtrooms in Eugene and Boise.

Judges in both Oregon and Idaho issued rulings in cases on same-sex marriage while that issue – and lots of others – were debated by candidates and their supporters in the days leading to the primary next week.

As always, our political guys, Bill and Jeff have been paying attention and have joined us again to review the developments of the week. Bill Lunch is OPB’s Political Analyst. Jeff Mapes is the senior political reporter for The Oregonian. They joined the discussion Friday.
