Political Chat: Northwest Issues Still Worth Another Look

The national political campaigns are spending a lot of time and money on the swing states, among which Oregon, Washington and Idaho are not. But there were some political developments here that are worth another look.

The Director of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission announced his retirement, bringing a controversial tenure to an end.

There were partisan and ideological tiffs among Republicans over a mailer that was sent by a friendly interest group.

And in the third and final presidential debate, at least one topic arose, that might sound different to Northwestern ears.

Our political guys weight in again. Bill Lunch is OPB’s Political Analyst.
