Political junkies know that the weeks just following an election often feel remarkably similar to a hangover after weeks, if not months, of serious drinking.
So it's time for them to start drying out...in time for the holidays. But this year, the looming 'fiscal cliff' may make that harder than usual, no matter what pols would like to do or not do.
