Bill Lunch, Geoff Norcross, Jeff Mapes

Michael Clapp / OPB

He met with Apple’s Steve Jobs and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg in Northern California yesterday.

Mr. Obama is at the Intel campus in Hillsboro today, highlighting his support for high-tech and education.

Down the road in Salem, Governor Kitzhaber decides not to purge state agency directors, but he is thinking about ways to fund at least one of those agencies.

We talk politics on Friday mornings.  Jeff Mapes is the senior political reporter for The Oregonian; and ever the reporter, he’s on the line from Intel in Hillsboro.  Bill Lunch is OPB’s Political Analyst and he’s in the studio with me.
