Political Chat: Shoe Drops, Goldilocks And Gay Marriage

The other shoe has dropped in the ongoing legal fight that the Cover Oregon debacle has become.

The state Justice Department announced a lawsuit against Oracle, the lead developer for the online exchange that failed spectacularly. The company has already sued the state over payments it says it is still owed.

The courts are also busy again this week on the topic of Oregon’s law concerning gay marriage.

And the state of Oregon got what was - from a state economist’s perspective - what you might call the Goldilocks kind of revenue projection: not too big, not too small.
