Political Chat: Street Fee, Gay Marriage In Political News This Week

The U.S. Supreme Court is taking an interest in Oregon’s gay marriage laws. One of the justices is asking for more information concerning an appeal from a group who was on the losing end of a decision by a federal judge on the matter.

The week in politics also included a rosy outlook for Oregon’s finances.

And a proposal in Portland for a street fee has once again raised questions about how governments in Oregon raise money for basic services.
