Winter weather swept into Oregon this week, though not soon enough to put the rest of the legislative session on ice.
Lawmakers in Salem have plenty on their plate dealing with issues both substantive and imaginative. They will hear the latest on Cover Oregon and try to revive the Columbia River Crossing. Meanwhile in Washington, Sen. Ron Wyden wrapped up his term as Chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee with a push for his O&C legislation. But his grand compromise is facing stiff headwinds from some allies.
