Filthy Friends is a new Portland band with an all-star lineup of Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney), Peter Buck (REM), Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows), Kurt Bloch (The Fastbacks), and Linda Pitmon (The Baseball Project). Their debut album, “Invitation,” comes out on Aug. 25.

You can join us Thursday, Aug. 24, at 5 p.m. for an opbmusic session with the band. They’ll perform songs from the new record and chat with OPB’s “State of Wonder.”

Listen for the performance and interview on a future broadcast of  “State of Wonder,” and look for the performance videos here on opbmusic.

The session is Thursday, Aug. 24, at 5 p.m. at OPB. Tickets to the event are free, but limited in number. RSVP here to get tickets.
