Part of Series:

Padre Pio is fronted by David Mosey, who formed the band in NYC in 2006, and who enlisted Joe McGinty (of The Psychedelic Furs) to produce the group’s dance-leaning EP, Madeline.  After relocating to Portland last year, Mosey remade the band with Portland musicians. He talks with Dave Cusick about how he ended up working with McGinty, coming (back) to Portland, and the Catholic references in his music.

Recording engineer: Steven Kray, with assistance from Bill Ward.
