Part of Series:

Viva Voce in-studio, 7-8-09

Recording engineer: Steven Kray, with technical assistance from Bill St. James

Recently expanded to a quartet, the Portland band led by Kevin and Anita Robinson play songs for us from their fifth full-length, this year’s Rose City. They talk about the difference adding two new bandmates has made, the homage of sorts they pay to thier adopted hometown on the new album’s title track, and the experience of playing double duty these days fronting Viva Voce and Blue Giant. Look for a vinyl release of Rose City in September on Jealous Butcher, as well as Viva Voce’s set at Berbati’s Sept. 18th as part of Musicfest NW.
