Part of Series:

We caught up to Amanda Palmer just over a week ago, the afternoon of her show at the Wonder Ballroom. After so much controversy around her tour (she had announced plans to invite volunteers from each tourstop to join her band for the night, then relented to pressure to pay them instead), Palmer threw her head back and laughed when asked how the tour has gone. Her manager wheeled in a keyboard, she brought a ukelele under her arm, and we recorded this set in the warm surroundings of The Secret Society Recording Studio. She played four songs, finishing with “Ukekele Anthem.”
