Last week, OPB’s State of Wonder took their show to Astoria, for a program highlighting the thriving creative scene on Oregon’s North Coast. On stage at the Liberty Theater, host April Baer and producer Aaron Scott spoke with some of the forces behind the Astoria Music Festival, as well as Clatsop County Commissioner Sarah Nebeker, writer Matt Love, and visual artist Darren Orange. Blind Pilot’s core duo of Israel Nebeker and Ryan Dobrowski were joined onstage by cellist Sergey Antonov, to play a new Blind Pilot song, “And Then Like Lions.” You can read more about State of Wonder’s Astoria show.
