Part of Series:

The Parson Red Heads make a return visit to our studios to play songs from their new release, Orb Weaver. The third full-length record from the Portland quartet finds them exploring louder, more up tempo territory with the help of producer Scott McCaughey. The band talked about those recording sessions and their role in Portlandia‘s Dream of the 1890s, plus delivered an a capella version of a classic song along the way.

Hear the entire session (performances + interview) below:

We’re presenting The Parson Red Heads’ release show for Orb Weaver this Saturday, November 2nd at the Aladdin Theater with openers Mimicking Birds and The Alialujah Choir. Find tickets here, or win a pair.
