OPB Nominated for 20 Northwest Regional Emmys Including Overall Station Excellence


OPB and its Local Productions and Staff Recognized in a Variety of Categories

OPB today announced that it has been nominated for 20 Northwest Regional Emmy Awards from the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).

The annual competition recognizes outstanding achievements in television and allied media. It is presented for excellence in programming and individual craft achievement in television and media arts.

As part of the 52nd Annual Regional Emmy Awards, OPB was recognized once again for the “Overall Station Excellence” award, an honor that it won last year. Additionally, several OPB executive producers, producers, videographers, writers, editors and reporters are recognized for their work in a variety of categories. OPB News and each of OPB’s local productions are all represented as 2015 nominees, which includes Oregon Field Guide, Oregon Art Beat and Oregon Experience.
