Performance Artists Cybelle and Botielus

As "Samsonite & Delight-Ya," performance artists Cybele and Botielus claim to be the cheesiest accordion duo in Oregon. In addition to accordion performances, they wander Saturday Market in various guises, including as Marilyn Monroe and as an accordion jukebox.

Pianist Nathan Bello

He's only 15 years old, but pianist Nathan Bello has already played an international competition at Carnegie Hall. He also composes original compositions,plays in the Gladstone High School jazz band, loves classical music, and plays chess. Nathan's love of player pianos led him to learn how to repair them, and he even learned how to sight read the perforations on player piano rolls.

Pyromania Glass Studio

Three members of the Schmitz family make art glass at Pyromania Glass Studio and Gallery in Newport. The glass blowing technique they use is 2000 years old, but the iridescent glass that is their specialty uses a new and expensive type of coloring. They make plates, paper weights, and an artistic version of the traditional Japanese glass fishing floats.
