An assignment to alleviate poverty in the Mississippi Delta changed Sister Mary Bertoli's life. She discovered a creative artistic side she never knew existed. The lack of materials and teachers in her area led Sister Mary to what was available: cheap tissue paper and glue. Now her tissue paper pictures capture the spirit of the people she met.
