Peter Helzer sculpted the new statue of Ken Kesey, recently unveiled in Eugene. See him working on it, with help from Ken's daughter Sunshine. Helzer has done some of Oregon's most beloved sculpture, including the young girls in The Hult Center in Eugene.
Found Objects
What do you find at yard sales & thrift stores? Art supplies, of course! That is, if you are one of the artists we met who creates work out of found objects from coffee pots to water skis.
