Phil Sylvester's Art Guitars

Visual artist Phil Sylvester has made many accomplishments in his life. He attended Berklee School of Music, earned a BA in mathematics at Reed College and a Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University. However, it was pursuing a career in visual arts and making hand crafted guitars that have been his life’s passion. His paintings, drawings and sculptures have been seen in galleries across the nation. In 1996, Phil turned his attention to guitar craftsmanship. Now his guitars are widely popular across the U.S. and have appeared in publications such as Vintage Guitar magazine and Guitar World magazine.
