Teenage Violinist Alex Hargreaves

In memory of journalist Daniel Pearl, violin-maker Jonathan Cooper created a special instrument to be awarded to promising violinists. Last year, internationally famous fiddler Marc O'Connor chose Alex Hargreaves of Corvallis to get to play the special instrument. Still a teenager, Alex is the youngest musician to win the award.
