Painter Mike Russo

Mike Russo came to Oregon in the 1940s to teach art. He was a modernist, and his style was controversial. He taught generations of students at the Portland Museum Art School and continued to paint well into his 90's. His influence is still felt in the Portland art community.

Organist Catherine Crozier

In her long career, organist Catherine Crozier made numerous critically acclaimed recordings and played with the likes of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Now 87 years old, she's the artist-in-residence at Portland's Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, where she plays the mighty Rosales, one of the great organs in the United States.
