Watercolorist Gene Gill
646
One of Portland's most admired watercolorists Gene Gill specializes in city street scenes, especially rainy ones! But we found out it's not the architecture that excites him. After years of success as an artist for advertising agencies, Gene has found success focusing on what he calls "realistic impressionism". He is inspired by everything from the waterfront to the park blocks. Often using models and photographs to work from, Gene's ultimate goal is to evoke a mood from what he observes.
