- Carole McCarty has worked in an astonishing range of media, including fiber arts, children’s book illustration, wood carving, and, for the past 15 years, oil painting. After years in Hawaii, she returned to her home in Pendleton, where she became fascinated with clouds. Working from photographs, she creates her cloudscapes without brushes, using oil sticks and her fingers to create vivid, realistic images.

- Portland artist, Don MacLane holds BA and MFA degrees in Sculpture from Antioch College and the University of Oregon. But it was his experience as a steel fabricator and his degree in mechanical engineering that gave him the skills that he now uses in his kinetic sculptures and the experimental musical instruments that he builds.
