- After the death of the great Ray Charles, saxophonist Patrick Lamb was inspired to create a tribute band featuring the rich talents of the Northwest music community. The result was "A N.W. Tribute to Ray Charles." Originally produced for a one time only performance at the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival in 2006, the popular show grew into an additional concert with the Oregon Symphony.
