While the landscape of children’s music is rich with pop-flavored, high-energy music and cartoon spin offs, one Portland pianist is getting national attention taking an entirely fresh tack. Lori Henriques is wrapping up recording her second collection of songs for kids, influenced by classical and jazz tradition.
