Good Sista/Bad Sista is the spoken word concoction of Turiya Autry and Walidah Imarish. Turiya and Walidah write and recite powerful, provacative, and political performance poetry with attitude. Good Sista/Bad Sista have performed their work on television, radio and records in addition to their live performances. They are black women that want to talk about race, gender, changing the world, men, prison, bad hair days and they want you to listen.
