Summer 2005 marked the 35th anniversary of Chamber Music Northwest, one of the nation's best and most successful classical music festivals. They played audience favorites. Reed College professor and composer David Schiff composed 'New York Nocturnes' specifically for Chamber Music Northwest. He talks about the influences of jazz in his work, his New York experiences and his collaborations with other musicians.
