Singer/guitarist David Jacobs-Strain used to be the "kid blues singer from Eugene." He had just graduated from high school when we began shooting this profile. When we finished, he was a seasoned traveling musician and a student at Stanford, able to legally get into the clubs where he used to play. The transition from boy to man is striking.
