Kate Power started out to write a song about immigrants. What came out instead was a song about Travis John Bradach-Nall, a young man in her neighborhood who was killed in Iraq. She recorded it at Billy Oskay's studio, only to discover later that Travis had been on the crew that built the studio. Travis John's story has touched many people in a personal way.
