It took Tim Power several years to perfect his sculpting technique and initially he didn't take anything too seriously. He started with a fish, using a log and pounding copper onto the wood until a form began to take shape. Now he makes hollow metal fish, and to make them more realistic he commissions the eyes from local glass-blowers. He also works with wood and wire.
