After studying zoology, Jon Janosik devoted himself to painting birds, many of them vanishing species. His work is so true-to-life that it's been used in National Geographic and Audubon Society field guides. A resident of Hubbard, Oregon, his work has been exhibited as far away as Japan and the British Museum.
