At the Pacific Northwest College of Art, we watch as Tibet artist Sonam Phuntsok works on a giant painting called a thangka, a form of Buddhist meditation. Having been awarded a grant and finding the perfect work space at the PNCA, Sonam started on his current piece but has been creating thangkas for more than twenty years.
