Metro Arts Founder Niel DePonte is a busy musician. He's the percussionist for the Oregon Symphony as well as a conductor with Oregon Ballet Theater. He also founded Metro Arts, an arts education nonprofit, and mentors the young classical musicians who play in the Young Artists Concert every May.
