After creating propaganda posters during World War II and working for Portland companies White Stag and Pendleton, illustrator Dick Wiley became one of the last illustrators of the old Dick and Jane readers. Millions of youngsters learned how to read thanks to the artwork of Dick Wiley, who is now retired.
