When you hear artist Jesse Sugarmann describe his work as “slow motion accidents” you might think of something more spectacular than vintage automobiles rising slowing into the air. But Sugarmann’s objective isn’t carnage, it’s celebration. He takes objects that people normally look at as junk and turns them into what he calls “unexpected monuments.”
