The War: Series Overview
In extraordinary times, there are no ordinary lives.
Ken Burns' new seven-part series tells the story of World War II through the personal accounts of men and women from four quintessentially American towns. The War explores the most intimate human dimensions of the greatest cataclysm in history — and demonstrates that in extraordinary times, there are no ordinary lives.

The Local Angle: Oregon Experience - Oregon At War
The Second World War brought major changes — economic, social and demographic — to the state of Oregon. The war years also left profound impressions on the individuals who lived through them, whether in military service or on the home front. Oregon at War is a one-hour special that explores both the big picture and the personal stories of Oregon and Oregonians during World War Two.
