Warner Wetlands
This beautiful wetland, located at the base of Southern Oregon's Hart Mountain, has recently been restored - creating habitat for a large variety of wildlife. Biologist Walt DeVores guides you through the Warner Wetlands. The Warner Wetlands provide habitat to a variety birds such as Ruddy Ducks, Avocet's, Long Billed curloos and Black-crowned Night-Heron. There are also predators like the Burrowing Owl, and Northern Harrier.

Wood ducks are water birds but they nest in hollow trees, or, sometimes, in nesting boxes built by friendly humans. A student project counts the eggs in an area of western Oregon and reports to the Fish and Wildlife Service.
