- Laura and Warren Halsey, owners of Raindance Ranch created a diverse native habitat on this 250 acre farm. The property had been heavily farmed for over a century. Through their own hard work, the Halseys with the support of government agencies and others were able to blend the elements of commercial farming with the presence of oak savannas, forests and wet lands. See the results of their efforts in the return of native plants and wildlife.
