- Ferguson Ridge is a small, volunteer run ski area tucked at the base of the Wallowa mountains in northeastern Oregon. Created by locals in the 1970's, it's where area ranchers and their families come to experience fresh powder and visit with friends. Many of the kids here have grown up skiing and snowboarding with several making it into national competitions.
