This remote area in eastern Oregon offers spectacular rock formations and caves that were once home for prehistoric man. Dramatic and colorful volcanic formations abound in this remarkable canyon. Time and erosion have carved out unique features in the rock which give it a honeycomb effect. The area is administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Visit a hundred year old wild horse trap, and explore caves once used by prehistoric populations.
